Cecile de Polangis says I am delighted to present my new collection of gifts and decorative objects for the house. In this I have helped several generations of the women of my family who I will never be able to thank enough…These women have always had a passion for beautiful objects which they have endeavored to embellish. It is true that we see these objects every day and they decorate our homes. Many of these women have been fortunate enough to work the Parisian Haute Couture or in textiles, and have thus retained a love of beautiful fabrics, of a savoir-faire which is dying out and of antique lace and embroidery whether ribbon work, cross-stitch or Trapunto....For many generations, these women have kept pieces of lace, fabric or embroidery which they have passed on to me. This has been an important source of inspiration for the creation of my collection. I hope that you too will be touched by this special cultural heritage, these beautiful objects made as they used to be which gives us such pleasure in our homes.
