uSAVEm indeed ships worldwide! However, shipping packages internationally can be rather complex. We can not use UPS in most cases because of the higher costs; instead, we utilize the US Post Office. The postage costs are determined by country, postal code, weight and size. This is what is so tricky: Postage is charged based on the actual weight or the dimensional weight, whichever is greater. There are also restrictions on maximum size which vary by country. All international rates can be computed here International Postal Rates and Fees – generic information can be found at www.usps.com – our US zip code is 30075.  Although we accept credit cards for ‘low-risk’ countries; shipments to ‘high-risk’ countries will require payment by International money order.

We prefer to use Express Mail International shipping method for all orders because it generally arrives in 3-5 days after it is shipped, includes $100 of insurance, has guaranteed arrival date, and tracking services included in the price. There is a money-back service guarantee to Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea, Republic of (South Korea)  If the order exceeds $100, we add the extra insurance costs to the total. (see charts below).  Global Express Guaranteed rates are also shown for comparison.

During our checkout procedure, we will ESTIMATE what the amount will be before you pay. That amount could be more or less depending on the items chosen.  Once the package is prepared and taken to the Post Office, the actual amount charged to us at the Post Office plus our international handling fee of $10.00.  This fee includes the special preparation, additional paperwork, credit card fees, and physically taking the item to the Post Office.  If you initially paid more, the difference will be credited to your account or if you paid less, the difference will be charged to your credit card.  Bottom line is it will be accurate once transaction is completed.

Your order does not include any import fees/taxes your country may charge you when the order arrives.  This rate can vary from country to country.  We indicate the actual value of the goods sold and make sure total contents are covered by insurance. Please do not ask us to illegally mark the item as a "gift".

In some cases, you can save significant $$ if you allow us to remove the outer box(es) from the items. Although this works well for vinyl dolls, it is not recommended for most of the porcelain items. In a recent shipment to New Zealand, we were able to save the buyer almost $80 by packing a number of dolls together using shrink wrap instead of the heavy cardboard.

If there is a problem with your order- either lost, stolen, or damaged, you will be required to file a claim form and bring the item into your local post office for the money that you are entitled to.  You will be required to provide them evidence of value paid and evidence of insurance from package documents.  We will work with you to provide them any documentation required for your insurance claim. In most cases, the insurance will be paid to us and we will re-ship the item. This process is a bit longer than US insurance processing, but, it works well if you provide them with the details.
