In Laos, the costume and skirt worn by our little Noi, is made for wear on the Annual New Year Festival and is a symbol of celebrating the good fortune of the past year and a sign of future prosperity. As seen with the vivid colors of her knee-length skirt of brocade and special patterns, and her elaborate headdress, the highest standards were upheld in keeping true to the native Hmong people's value to their needlework. Over 250 metal buttons and bead accents are used to create each costume. The custom brocade fabric was created especially for this costume. This doll is from the 2010 Limited Edition Charisma Adora doll collection. Noi Laos has black hair, brown eyes, and that incredibly detailed outfit! It really makes no difference whether you are going to use this doll for play or collecting. This is a real cute 22 inch tall exquisite vinyl Limited Edition collectible Adora doll with a weighted, cloth body with vinyl head, arms, and hands. This girl is scented with a very pleasant baby-powder scent and the cloth body is expertly weighted with beads to provide the realistic feel of a real baby.
