Description
A charming Victorian scene of days-gone-by entitled The Bridal Shop. This subject is an ornate old Victorian home which has been converted into a bridal shop. A fashionable bride-to-be dressed in a buttery ankle length dress is seen approaching up the sidewalk with her matching parasol in hand. My guess is she's coming in for a final fitting. This print is a visual treasure hunt with surprises around every corner. You'll note the old turn-of-the-century "gas light" street lamp, the octagonal gazebo out back, the cobblestone streets and the ornate iron work and carpentry that abound. Every last board and shingle has been painstakingly created by this amazing artist. As with all his work, you'll want to look for the artists' trademark kitty cat.
