A charming holiday scene of days-gone-by entitled Sleigh Ride. It features a brisk sleigh ride past a classical Victorian home on a cold winter?s eve. A warm and inviting glow radiate from within the mansion and from the old street lamp outside. The sleigh driver (sporting a whip, top hat, smoking pipe and frosty wire framed spectacles) is snugly bundled under a multi-colored crazy quilt that covers both him and his grandchild. You can almost hear the bells ?jingle? and feel the snow fly as the horse and sleigh ?woosh? past. Viewers will delight in the holiday decorations which include holly wreaths, red-ribbon wrapped porch posts, candles in the windows, colorful leaded glass, gingerbread, magnificent Christmas tree (complete with ornaments) and much more. Literally hundreds of tiny bricks, shingles, and pieces of leaded glass are individually hand painted (with cement mortar in between!).
