We are very pleased to bring you this incredible item!! The Very First PussyCat Bears Rare Limited Edition of Princess Lucilla - only 2,000 Bears existed Worldwide! This bear, Lucille, is the third in the series and is limited to 2,000 pieces. The bear comes in her own box and with her own certificate of authenticity. The right paw of each has its own number and original signature by the artist, Colin Fraser. The certificate of authenticity number matches the number signed on the bears foot. Original RETAIL price for the this bear was $399.00. This is for Lucilla ONLY - NOT the pair as shown. The signed and numbered (that matches the cat's foot) certificate exists but NOT the box. The only way to acquire an original box is to buy the rare set of two dolls complete set.
High Class Doll Artist Colin Fraser
PussyCat Bears were conceived many years ago by a kindly Antipodean grandfather, Colin Fraser. Sonya Heron, a multi-award-winning Australian teddy bear maker, designed Petronella and Mr. McGuff. Height of each approximately 15 inches, finest German mohair, fully jointed neck, legs and arms. Designed as a collectors piece, with German hand-made glass eyes (therefore not suitable for small children).
Petronella (pictured on left) The leader of the advance landing party. Looks that melt the heart. Hungry for human love. Occasionally displays a rakish, wot-the hell attitude. Arrived holding this place card:

Of course, nearly everyones heard of Bearcats. Theyre surly and snarly and not at all friendly. But now the time for Cat Bears has come. PussyCat Bears. They're cuddly, kind and endearing. All the huggable lovableness of a traditional teddy. And they stylish, mysterious never-quite-yours personality of a cat that definitely knows it own mind. Petronella thinks its unfair that bears have had all the fun for so long Outrageous my dears! But Mr. McGuff is more philosophical. We are here to lift up the hearts of all those who love cats AND bears. Forever and ever.
The Day of Discovery
It is now reliably recorded that Petronella and Mr. McGuff were discovered in the Antipodes, at dawn on a cold June day. A passing schoolgirl named Angela True saw them sitting together under a mysterious cone of light. Petronella was carrying a placard. Mr. McGuff was completing his own sign, in his very spiky handwriting. It said, Theres nothing like a cuddle from a PussyCat Bear. Really, Trooty. Suddenly the cone of light disappeared. And quick-thinking Angela True gathered up both the bears, gave them each a big welcoming hug, and carried them into Civilization As We Know It. Angela, a sensitive child, said: Today these Very First PussyCat Bears have made history together. And, for the Sake of Posterity and in the interests of Serious Collections Everywhere, they should never be separated, torn asunder, or otherwise parted.
The Lord Major of the Antipodes passed a solemn decree that this should be so as long as they both shall live. Ahforever together, signed Petronella. And double the love for everyone who wants us, said Mr. McGuff.
